I LIVE! I think I should make the notice stating that my updates are sparse in a more visible location asides from the
about page. I'll consider that.
Announcements:
I. AM. BACK. for now
Sitely:
New layout feat. the adorable 2
nd job Sheep from Trickster Online Revolution~ I initially planned to use this as a
signature at the MYMMOGAMES forums but I never got around to placing the text on it. While I was making a button to match the
layout, I found that the button was too light so I may darken the header later. I also added the last layout to the About
page, a few sites on the dredits page and two new link buttons. The coding and typing was tidied up a bit as well; a few things
were added to the dreaded ToS.
Linkage:
Went POOF!:
Ceban Pixels, High V0ltage
Moved:
Anime Heart ->
Blasphemic,
Pandaemonium ->
Quiscent (Caren has also had a slight name change to Karen)
Back:
Night Firefly
New Layout (that was put up at least 100 years ago):
Moonflame Designs
Tidied Up:
Affiliates and link exchange... links. All sites that haven't been updated in half a year have been removed.
Looking through my email, I found at least two 2 affiliate/link exchange related emails from forever ago so... I'll answer
those. Soon. I promise. Since I never, explicitly stated affiliation is closed... I suppose it never closed? It's my own
fault I didn't cleary indicate that in the affiliation rules section on the link exchange page so I'll consider any affiliation
requests I've received that aren't drastically past the original sent date. How's 2 months sound here? I think SD's 2
nd
anniversary is coming up soon so I'll keep affiliation open until then. Whoa, that's two years of constant (kinda) affiliate
openings.
Layout:
1 layout: SD's previous version, Akira E. Ferrari and Aika S. Granzchesta from the animanga Aria.
Blend?:
1 blend?: Komachi Onozuki from the game Touhou, This started out as a signature way back when, late last year perhaps. I dug
it back up in January to make SD's next layout out of it. I quit a day or two later when I has issues with text placement. As
such, it's now a... blend? I did put a few images together to make it. What do you DO with blends anyway? I never understood
the point of blends yet here I am, adding a graphic as a blend. I made two avatars out of it; is that what you're supposed to
do, make graphics out of them? I guess so? I don't see why anyone would take a preblended image and do that though; it makes
no sense. Well, it's too big to be classified as a banner as I originally intended and I spent way too much time on it to just
keep it to myself; I'm certainly not going to use it. So here you go. Updates here will be as frequent as my scoring higher
than an 80 on any my Calculus work: just about never.
Due to
Kokunkokun's Collab Contest, I
also have 2 layouts and 1 wallpaper that were produced by my partner,
Rinku, and I. I'll put up modifications of those graphics soon. Soon, I keep saying soon.
Now, onto the bulk of the graphical updates, ICONS! YAY!
Icons [42! O:]:
Aria: 16 icons, I love working with Kozue Amana's artwork; it's just... wow. There are quite a few variations here and there.
Kino no Tabi: 1 icon, Kino is adorable and Keiichi Sigsawa, the novel's author, and Kouhaku Kuroboshi, the novel's artist,
are just amazing alone and together. I plan on making a lot more.
Kuroshitsuji: 4 icons, Ciel is such a loveable little prick. Yana Toboso doesn't help either. The manga is glorious. As for the
anime, well, I don't watch it. The older two of the four icons were made for Kokunkokun's Collab Contest, round one, so I
suppose you could consider those sneak peaks for the layout?
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: 1 icon, This icon started out lime in color actually.
Ito Noizi's Art: 2 icons, I tried to maker the newer of the two resemble the older one. That didn't turn out so well.
Persona 3: 2 icons, If not for the fact SOMEONE gave me a defective PS2, I could have spent my undeclared haitus playing P3.
I'm not too fond of the older of the two icons.
Persona 4: 8 icons, Since I didn't have a working PS2, I spent a good bit of my haitus looking up P4 related stuff. Really.
I seriously dig the P3/4 in game art so decided to make a set of P4 icons to resemble the happy fun time theme P4 has going
on.
It. Was. FUN. I'll make more P4 icons along the same lines or find some way to make a P3 set. Or I'll just make a
ton of P3/4 icons. That sounds fine too.
Touhou: 8 icons, The older 6 icons were just croped and color enhanced to bring out the dominant color already present in the
original image; I didn't feel like doing much at that time. The next to newest icon is the blend I added above, just modififed
a teenie bit. The newest icon was a fluke that came up while making the next to newest one; I love it.
Other:
Requests: Go through my email, find and FINISH them. Also, request page has been revised.
Why is this update so long? Well, that's a good thing I suppose, I should comment on my updates more rather that just post a
list of updates like I usually do. At this point, I would like to thank all visitors who stopped by to support SD, I really
do appreciate it. Ah, I need to sign up with Extreme Tracker to see where exactly everyone -coughcoughifabyonebythispointcoughcough-
comes from. That's all for now; I can't think anymore. I'll set a friend on finding a way to make me update more regularly.
Or I'll just manage my time better. That works too.
